Why is there a 4% Charge?
A 4% bank surcharge is applied to credit card transactions. This fee is imposed by the bank, not by Primate Safaris.
Why Use a Credit Card?
Paying by credit card is the quickest and easiest way to make payments. It allows us to receive immediate approval, enabling us to confirm your reservations swiftly.
How Do I Know if My Credit Card Payment is Successful?
After entering your card details on our secure site, you will see an approval notice and receive an online receipt. Please print the receipt for your records and send us a copy to confirm your reservation.
What if My Credit Card Transaction Fails?
If your transaction fails, you may need to contact your bank to authorize payments to Tanzania. Banks often place holds on foreign transactions to protect against fraud.
Direct Wire Transfer:
Below are the details needed for a direct wire transfer to our account. Note that any bank charges for this method are the client’s responsibility. Please ensure the correct account name is included in the transfer documentation. This method may take at least 7 business days to complete.
How to Make a Direct Wire Transfer:
You can initiate a direct wire transfer through online banking or by visiting your local bank. It’s crucial that the beneficiary’s account details are accurate to avoid any disputes.
Bank Charges:
Depending on the bank processing the transfer, expect to pay between $25 – $75 in beneficiary bank charges.
What to Do After Completing the Wire Transfer:
Once the wire transfer is successfully completed, please send us a scanned copy of the transaction confirmation so we can follow up with our bank.
Payment Processing Time:
An international direct wire transfer may take up to 7 business days to be credited to our account.
Cancellation Policies & Fees:
– More than 120 days before the safari or tour: 25% of the payment is non-refundable.
– 119 to 90 days before the safari or tour: 50% of the payment is non-refundable.
– 89 to 31 days before the safari or tour: 75% of the payment is non-refundable.
– 30 days or less, or in the case of a no-show: 100% of the total cost is non-refundable.
Note:
Tour packages are confirmed upon receipt of a 30% deposit of the total package cost. The balance is due in full 30 days before arrival. For tours booked less than 30 days in advance, full payment or a 50% deposit is required.
