Upon arrival in Kibale, you’ll check into your lodge, situated close to the park. The rest of the day is yours to relax or explore the area at your leisure, preparing for the chimpanzee trekking adventure that awaits the next morning.

The final day of your tour is dedicated to chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park, often referred to as the "primate capital of the world." After breakfast, you’ll head to the park headquarters for a briefing before setting off into the forest. Kibale is home to over 1,500 chimpanzees, and your chances of encountering these intelligent and social creatures are very high. The trek takes you deep into the forest, where you’ll follow the calls of the chimps and track their movements. Upon finding a troop, you’ll have the rare opportunity to observe them as they forage, play, and interact with one another. Watching their complex social behavior is both fascinating and educational, offering a unique insight into our closest living relatives. After spending time with the chimpanzees, you’ll return to the lodge for lunch before beginning your journey back to Entebbe. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for a brief stop at the equator or in one of the local markets to pick up souvenirs.
