Day 1: Entebbe/Kampala – Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will be received at the airport by a representative from our company who will be your guide/driver who will give a short briefing and then depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park – one of Uganda’s most frequented tourist destinations. The park features diverse ecosystems called home by a variety of wildlife species – ten primate species (including chimpanzees), more than 600 bird species, and classic big games. You will stop for lunch en route then proceed into the beautiful Queen Elizabeth NP, arriving late afternoon (evening) and do little but just check into the accommodation and relax.

Day 2: Morning Chimpanzee tracking & afternoon game drive.

After an early morning breakfast we proceed for the Chimpanzee tracking in the Kyambura gorge. The gorge is home to habituated Chimpanzees plus other primates including baboons, monkeys and also bird species. Today, you will spend the early part of the day tracking chimpanzees here. Thereafter, return to the accommodation for some rest time and lunch. After lunch go out for an afternoon (evening) game viewing and be on the look for Cape buffalos, herds of elephants plus lions, leopards (though hard to spot) among others.

Alternatively, you could choose to go for a 2-hour boat trip (at an extra USD 30 pp) on the Kazinga Channel that connects Lakes George and Edward. During the trip, the sight of wildlife including giant hippos, elephants and crocodiles among others will fascinate you. You will also see many varieties of birds at the water shores. Return to the accommodation for relaxation, dinner and the overnight stay.
